KOBIL Charts and Images are fully compatible to the standard Kubernetes API. Ahead of this KOBIL supports deployment on OpenShift platform at runtime level. KOBIL Shift Chart configuration options enables the full functionality for the KOBIL services without a need to modify the KOBIL charts and images.

As the KOBIL Services are using the standard Kubernetes API KOBIL does not expect to see any KOBIL Shift deployment and runtime issues. The most critical part could be the "network layer" exposing the KOBIL Service to the internet. For this different ServiceMesh Services at different platforms are available and it may require to adopt the integration for the service mesh gateway. When using OpenShift services RedHat ServiceMesh instead of using community Istio ServiceMesh this may require different configuration. Also when using Openshift "route" instead of standard Kubernetes Ingress-Controller (ingress resources) this is fully supported. KOBIL will help to achieve the ServiceMesh Gateway integration and network resource declaration is successful.
